The Highlands

Welcome to Highland

An up-and-coming neighborhood offering sought-after amenities

Highland is a charming community located just north of Downtown Denver and is one of the most desirable neighborhoods to live in. Highland’s recent growth is in part due to its high favor and popularity. Families, young couples, professionals, and empty nesters flock to the area to experience a youthful and walkable neighborhood close to all of Denver’s sought-after amenities and attractions.

Although geographically Highland is one sole area, local residents often separate their beloved community into three distinct locales: Highland, Lower Highland (LoHi), and Platte Street. While each area has its own charm and personality, you can expect to find a blend of well-maintained residential streets offering single-family homes in Denver’s iconic squares and newer townhomes and apartments.

The neighborhood boasts varying architecture, from historic buildings to new developments created with advanced features to meet the demand of Highland’s booming real estate market. As a result, Highland has become a stomping ground for Denver’s trendiest restaurants, upscale boutique shops, and local bars. The area is also popular with tourists, as many visit here to experience its numerous attractions and activities.
